Friday 3/28/25 from 10 am to 1 pm This free certification course trains attendees in creating CAD designs to be uploaded to the ShopBot CNC Router Machine. Participants will learn to create and upload files in Vectric Aspire Software and apply design tips for optimal results. Some may choose to sign up for Session 2 on the same day, however, it is recommended that you choose a future date to spend time creating your design. When you feel you are ready, sign up for Session 2. At that time, we will evaluate your design and help you troubleshoot any problems. Please note, you will have to come for a 3rd session (individually scheduled) to work one on one with a staff member to use the CNC Router. Upon completing this class, you will be certified to use the CNC for further projects. Prerequisites: Intro to 2D Design. Prerequisite for Intro to CNC Session 2 The STEAMSHOP is in room 25 of the IUP Robertshaw building.
