The two week IUP Philadelphia Urban Experience is open to all education majors. This program is intended to help students gain the experience to be better teachers by understanding and interacting with Philadelphia's one-of-a kind urban culture. Through community service, classroom experiences, and intensive person-to-person interaction with colleagues as well as students, participants often leave Philadelphia with new outlook on education.
